Microsoft has released a new update for the Arrow Launcher app on Android. The update introduces the ability to customize the app name and icon for apps, which is a major feature for some users. With this feature, you will be able to set a custom name or choose a custom icon (from any icon packs) for a specific app which is pretty neat. The update also adds a new Backup/Restore feature which lets you backup your settings and restore them which is going to be immensely useful when you reset your device.

Here’s the full changelog:

  • Customize the icon and name of individual app – Just long press on any app to change it
  • Backup and restore feature. Save your app layout and settings for those times when you need to re-install Arrow
  • Wallpaper enhancements: more wallpaper options, resizing, resolution tweaks, and loading optimizations.
  • Bug and crash fixes.

Arrow Launcher’s new features are only available in beta at the moment — if you are interested, you can become a tester here to get the latest beta features on Arrow Launcher. Once you sign-up as a tester, you can get the latest update for Arrow here.
