We have seen the Phone Insider app in the store, and we have had Gabriel Aul, the head of the Insider program for Windows 10, saying we will hear more details on the 21st January, at Microsoft’s Windows 10 Redmond event, and now veteran Microsoft watcher Mary Jo Foley has said we will probably not have to wait too long before we are running Windows 10 for phones on our handsets.
When asked if we will see Windows (Mobile) 10 soon, she said:
Yep. Public preview expected some time shortly after Jan. 21 event.
While not directly from Microsoft, a pronouncement by MJF does carry quite a bit of weight, which should increase our confidence that we will have something new to play with very soon.
