Augmented or Mixed Reality can be used to add information to the real world, and can be particularly useful to enable less skilled users to perform at a higher level by having information and guidance available at their finger tips.

In the above video we see an unexpected application of this in landscape gardening.

Hololens developer Javier Davalos shows how the device can be used as a guide for trimming a shrub to a perfect sphere, and it is a reminder not all work involves processing data from Mars, but can be something as mundane as plumbing or gardening.
