Few months ago, Microsoft revealed Windows Hello for Windows 10. Windows Hello is one of the major new additions on Windows 10, at least when it comes to security. The feature will allow users to login with their face or fingerprint. Although the fingerprint authentication isn’t too revolutionary, the face recognition feature is pretty mind-blowing if you ask me.

For those who don’t know, Windows Hello authenticates your face when you come in front of a camera that supports Windows Hello. Theauthentication is very fast, and takes only a few seconds to log you into Windows. For those wondering, no, it’s not easy for others to login with your digital photo or even for your twin.

So which devices support Windows Hello right now? Well, there are a couple that packs Intel’s RealSense technology which enables users to login with their face. Here’s the list:

  • Dell Inspiron 15 5548
  • Acer Aspire V 17 Nitro
  • Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 15
  • Lenovo ThinkPad E550
  • Asus N551JQ
  • Asus ROG G771JM
  • Asus X751LD
  • HP Envy 15t Touch RealSense Laptop
  • Lenovo B5030
  • Dell Inspiron 23 7000
  • HP Sprout

The list of devices that support Intel RealSense isn’t very long, but there’s a good number of devices that currently support the RealSense technology. If you own one of the above devices, you should be able to login with your face on your PC – thanks to Windows Hello on Windows 10.

It’s worth noting that we will be seeing new devices with support for Windows Hello once Windows 10 launches later this year. However, if you can’t wait, you can grab the Intel RealSense Developer Kit which is available for only $99. Nonetheless, discuss if you’ll be using Windows Hello on your Windows 10 PC in the comment section below.
