Facebook today announced several music related features for its billion plus users. Facebook is announcing support for Music on Facebook Stories, expanding Lip Sync Live to all users, and the ability to add songs to your Profile. Read about these features below.

From today, you can now add a song to photos and videos you share on Facebook Stories. To enjoy this feature, take a photo or video from the Facebook Camera or grab one from your camera roll, then tap on the sticker icon and select the music sticker. There you can select the song you want to add and pick the part to share and add the sticker with the artist and song name. You can also move the sticker around and add other stickers and effects to customize your story.

The Lip Sync Live feature is now available to more profiles in many countries around the world. Facebook is also expanding up the feature to more artists and creators by expanding to Pages, giving them more ways to connect with their fans. Facebook is also adding lyrics to Lip Sync Live. Lyrics feature roll out starts today, and are available for songs including Dua Lipa’s “New Rules,” Khalid’s “Better,” and “Girls Like You” by Maroon 5.

In the coming weeks, Facebook will be adding the ability to add songs to a new music section on your profile. You can also pin a song to the top of your profile. Your Facebook friend can play the songs you have put on your profile and they can also see an accompanying video featuring photos of the artists and album art. They will also have an option to add the song to their own profile or visit the artist’s Facebook Page.
