Designer envisions a square Surface Watch (concept)

Irish designer and Windows Phone fan Sean McConnel has wondered why Microsoft has not made a smart watch yet, noting that the Microsoft Band is really an exercise tracker in the end.

Above is his Surface Watch concept, which shows a smart watch inspired by the iconic tablet, appearing to feature a Windows Phone-inspired UI and wireless charging.

While the design is great (though thinner would be better) I think his postulated UI could do with a lot more work, vs simpy transferring the Windows Phone UI to a much smaller screen.
