Almost 47% of Steam users are now running Windows 10

Recently, we reported that Windows 10 already claims more than 21% of the desktop market. Now, according to the latest data from Steam’s  Hardware Survey, almost 47% Steam users now run Windows 10. According to the data, 44.93% of users use Windows 10 64-bit, while the Windows 10 32 bit is being used by 1.59% users. The data also revealed that Windows 10 gained 2.06% share over the last month. Windows 10 is the most popular OS amongst Steam users, while Windows 7 64 bit is second with 29.70% usage, and Windows 8.1 is third with 9.38%. On the other hand, OS X has a total usage of only 3.40%, but Windows has a total usage of 95.69%.
