Xbox One had its best January to date as per latest NPD report

According to the latest NPD report, Microsoft’s Xbox One had its best January month sales to date in the US. But even this high number was not enough to beat Sony PS sales in the same time period.
Mike Nichols, corporate vice president of Xbox Marketing said the following regarding the sales results,
“Thanks to continued support by our fans, 2017 is off to a strong start as Xbox One game hours grew 21 percent year-over-year. In addition, in the U.S., Xbox One had its best January to date and was the only eighth generation console that saw growth in January compared to the prior year according to NPD Group. Team Xbox is committed to delivering the best gaming experiences for our fans.”
It is important to note that Microsoft achieved this sales number despite not having any significant games launch on its platform.
Microsoft recently announced a new Xbox One S bundle, Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition (1TB). Halo Wars 2 Bundle comes with Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition ($ 79.99 USD value) – The RTS game for everyone includes the full game with four days of early access starting Feb. 17, the Season Pass and Halo Wars: Definitive Edition – an enhanced version of the classic real-time Strategy game Halo Wars.
