Today, Microsoft is releasing a major new update for Windows 10. The company has just started rolling out the Windows 10 Anniversary Update, which introduces a number of new features and enhancements for Windows 10. The Anniversary Update introduces an improved Start Menu, Notification Syncing, Cortana on the lock screen, Extensions for Edge, Chaseable Live Tiles, and a lot more.

The Anniversary Update is coming to Windows 10 PCs, but Mobile will be getting it in the coming weeks. However, the Xbox One already has some of the new Anniversary Update features, which was released with the Summer Update. As for other devices like the HoloLens or Surface Hub, Microsoft will likely release updates in the coming months.

It is worth mentioning that as Microsoft has just started rolling out the Anniversary Update, it may not be available for your device right now. Chances are, the update may take a few days to arrive for your device as the software giant is releasing the update to more than 350 million devices worldwide. If you are a Windows 10 user, you can get the Anniversary Update for free by heading over to the Settings app, and then the Update & Security section.
