WhatsApp has updated their web app to version 2.7315. The update brings along two new hidden features which are pretty cool, and which will be available both on the web and desktop app version.

The first is the ability to reply to a group message with a private reply.

A one-on-one chat will automatically be opened quoting the message you are replying to.

The second is the ability to open a video in a separate floating Picture in Picture video, useful for keeping up with a fast-moving chat group.

As mentioned earlier, both features are hidden and still in development and should become public only at a later date.

To make sure you have the very latest version of WhatsApp web with the new changes, clear your browser’s cache.
