WhatsApp is rolling out a new update for its Beta app on all the platforms. The latest update bumps the beta app to v2.18.4 and brings new stickers and Quick switch between audio and video calls. You can head below to have a look at the changelog:

  • New UI to manage stickers. (Under internal testing/not available for beta testers right now)
  • New separate tab to access stickers which includes “Recent Stickers” and “Starred Stickers” (Under internal testing/not available for beta testers right now)
  • Ability to switch between Audio and Video calls.

Currently, if a user wants to switch calls then they need to disconnect and call again. This feature will help users to directly switch calls without disconnecting.

As stickers are concerned, we might see them live in future updates. As for now, the feature is still under internal testing. All these features will roll out to the public as soon as the beta test is over.
