Every week a handful of games release on Xbox One and many elude owners of the console due to their timid marketing. Xbox Wire makes sure you know about them but can’t provide gamers with recommendations. A lot of these titles are absolutely phenomenal and it’s a shame that they aren’t noticed. Here are some games coming out between May 8 and May 12 which you should check out. Some of the experiences are quite obvious while others may surprise you.

Human: Fall Flat

Using a combination of wits and physics, escape this haunted environments by solving a variety of puzzles as Bob. He doesn’t have superpowers, but given the right tools he can do a lot—misuse the tools and he can do even more!

Narcosis

Stranded on the seafloor with little light and few tools to save you, try to keep your sanity and oxygen in the sunless depths of the Pacific in Narcosis, a chilling new survival horror game for consoles.

Butcher

If you’re a fan of the classic, brutal and bloody Doom, Butcher might be exactly what you’re looking for. Describing itself as a blood-soaked love letter to the cult classics of the genre, you play as a cyborg who is programmed to eradicate anything that moves—that includes the last remnants of humanity.

Elliot Quest

Cursed to turn into a demon unless he can find a cure, Elliot must embark on an epic quest across a vibrant 2D open world filled with secrets and adventure to change his fate.

Demon’s Crystals

Take control of the Urican demons who have taken up arms to fight back against the possessed hordes of men in this creative twin-stick arcade shooter. Collect the life-sustaining crystals that the Urican depend on and utilize a variety of weapons and power-ups to restore peace to the planet.

Apart from the games mentioned above, Xbox One is getting Lethal League and NBA Playgrounds. There might be other surprise releases in there too like last week’s football simulator AFL Revolution. This week may not be as eventful as the last few put together but the games are still a lot of fun. All of these are great experiences Xbox One owners should try out.
