Assault Heroes 2, Commanders: Attack of the Genos, and TimeShift are all joining backward compatibility today. While they may not be the heavy-hitters everyone was hoping for, they still represent some great experiences. TimeShift has to be the title that stands out among this crowd because it’s a thrilling first-person shooter. While all of these games may not be titles you’re going to rush to the Xbox Store to purchase, revisiting them will be a fond trip down memory lane.

TimeShift revolves around the villain Dr. Krone who has created a disturbing alternate reality. Armed with the experimental Beta Suit, you alone can slow, stop and reverse the flow of time. Perfect this ability to end Krone’s madness by joining the battle for survival and leading the uprising to victory.

For those wondering, Assault Heroes 2 is the sequel to the award-winning action-packed arcade shooter. Just like the original, it features intense combat, big weapons, and the wildest mechanical monsters you’ve ever seen in a video game. Commanders: Attack of the Genos is a turn-based strategy game which is a lot of fun. You can utilize over a dozen diverse units including bombers, infantry and missile launchers to crush the enemy and defend your territory. The best part is that you can also battle your friends through online multiplayer.
