Honor is in the process of announcing their Honor View20, and as part of the presentation, they posted the above picture, which aptly shows why the punch hole camera is much better than Apple iPhone notch, which is expected to also be in this year’s new iPhones.

It is clear that the notch is much more obtrusive than the punch hole, especially Honor’s version, which they call a micro-hole due to only being 4.5 mm in diameter.

Of course, this does not include Apple’s 3D camera for FaceID, but I suspect this is a technology looking for a use case, and something which can be easily discarded.

The View20 has a 6.4 inch  2310 x 1080 LCD screen, 7nm Kirin 980 processor,  8GB of RAM, and 128GB or 256GB storage ,  4,000mAh battery and 48-megapixel rear camera.

It is already on sale in China and will be shipping to rance, the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, Russia, and more starting tomorrow for around  €569.
