We have known for a while that Google is planning to launch a cheaper variant of Pixel, and due to various issues with Google websites, we have also been able to confirm the specs of the device. According to the leaked spec sheet, the device will feature 4GB of RAM and a resolution 1080 x 2160 and will have a DPI of 400.

We have also seen some renders which depict a rather slick device, but now two official renders have leaked via AndroidHeadlines which purport to be the final handset.

Two versions are shown, the Pixel 3a and 3a XL. The 3a has a 5.6 inch 2220 x 1080 screen while the 3a XL has a 6-inch screen of the same resolution.

According to a leak from a retailer, the devices will cost $649 and $799 Canadian dollars respectively. In US dollars, that’s about $485 and the Pixel 3a XL will cost $600. It is expected to hit shelves on the 7th May.
