The Voice UK has been running for the past few weeks. The show, which is fronted by hosts Emma Willis and Marvin Humes, and features as judges the likes of Tom Jones and will.i.am has an official app on iOS and Android. However, as is generally the case, there is no Windows Phone app to speak of.

This has now been remedied. The Windows Phone Store plays host to a few “The Voice UK” apps however these leave a lot to be desired, with most being nothing more than a stream of YouTube videos.

The Voice: The App, however, has gone against this unsatisfactory grain. The app, from developer Emmet McLaughlin who has created similar apps for UK reality shows Big Brother, The X Factor and I’m A Celebrity, contains a raft of features including news from various media outlets from print and online, tweets from the show itself, presenters and coaches, video clips and much more.

The app, which was released earlier this week, also allows the viewer to become involved too, with Polls in which users can vote on daily questions, and “LiveLike” whereby users vote whether they Like or Dislike what is currently happening on screen, and receive the average “like-rating” of all fans at the same time.

The app is available to download from the Windows Phone Store now by using the links below.
