Although mobile means Android and iOS at the Redmond campus, Microsoft is quite consistent when it comes to delivering updates to its dead platform – Windows 10 Mobile. The ex-Windows Phone maker has released a new update that focuses on security and overall stability of the O.S. Aside from that, the new update KB4491736 takes the O.S. to Build 15254.556. You can read the official changelog below.
- Resolves an issue that may cause users to receive “Error 1309” when installing or uninstalling certain types of MSI and MSP files.
- Resolves an issue that causes users to receive an incorrect return value of “0” when calling _isleadbyte_l ().
- Security updates for Windows Shell, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Scripting Engine, Windows app platform and framework, Windows input and composition, Microsoft Edge, Windows Linux, Windows Hyper-V, Windows Storage and Filesystem, Windows Datacenter Networking, Windows Server, Windows Kernel, Windows MSXML and Microsoft JET Database Engine.
To download the update, go to ‘All settings’ then ‘Update and security’, hit ‘Windows Update’ and now tap ‘Check for updates.’
