Slack is working towards bringing an important new feature, which will make it easier for the users to search for messages, to its Android app. This feature will let Slack users sort messages by Most relevant, Newest messages, and Oldest messages.
By default, it will be set to Newest, but if you want to revisit the older messages, you’ll be able to apply the filter and revisit the past messages, thus obviating the fear of endless scrolling that you need to do sometimes to see older messages.

Slack is a collaboration hub that can replace email to help you and your team work together seamlessly. A Slack workspace is made up of channels, where team members can communicate and work together. In Slack, you have workspaces, which are made up of channels, taking advantage of which team members can send messages and share files.
The ‘Search Result sorting’ feature appears to be in the testing phase, which means that we might have to wait a while to use the feature on Slack for Android. Unfortunately, we don’t know whether or not a similar feature is coming to the iOS app.
