Microsoft has rolled out a new update for Screen Sketch app for Windows Insiders. The latest update bumps the app to v10.1806.1901.0 and improves the screenshot quality.

With Microsoft set to replace Snipping tool with Screen Sketch, the app needs to be refined in order to be replaced completely. When Microsoft launched it initially, the app didn’t produce great screenshots and the images were blurry. The company aims to solve the issue with the latest update.

Microsoft has invested a lot of time and effort in perfecting the app. There are still features missing from the app like screenshot delay but overall the app is better than Snipping Tool. Microsoft has even a dedicated shortcut combination (Win+Shift+S) for Screen Sketch.

The latest update is available just for Windows Insiders right now and will be made public later on. For now, if you’re a Windows Insider then you can download and install the app from the Microsoft Store here.
