Samsung is introducing a new and improved Samsung Flow app for its Windows 10 and Android devices to bridge the gap between your Galaxy smartphone and Galaxy PCs. The company today introduced the new Galaxy Book family of tablets running Windows 10, which feature the brand-new Flow service that adds a couple of really cool features.
With the new and improved Samsung Flow, Samsung is adding the ability to unlock your Galaxy tablet using the fingerprint scanner on your Galaxy smartphone. Once you have this feature enabled, you will be able to unlock your Galaxy tablet running Windows 10 using the fingerprint scanner on your Galaxy phone without having to do anything extra. Pretty neat, right?
Samsung didn’t stop there — the company is taking things a step further with the new Flow. You will now be able to share files between your Galaxy tablet and Galaxy smartphone using the Flow app. For instance, if you want to share a picture from your phone to your Galaxy tablet running Windows 10, Â you can do that instantly using the Flow app. Similarly, you can share a PDF file from your Galaxy tablet to your Galaxy smartphone using the Flow app which is really quite neat.
Another neat feature Samsung is adding with the new Flow app is the ability to get notifications from your Galaxy phone on your tablet. This feature is already built into Windows 10 via Cortana, but Samsung Flow seems to work faster — even for the quick-reply feature
