Samsung today introduced the ATIV Book 9 Pro, the company’s first laptop with a 4K display. The ATIV Book 9 Pro comes with a 15.6-inch display with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels. For those wondering – yes, it is a touchscreen display. Under the hoods, Samsung is packing an Intel Core i7 processor, clocked at 2.6GHz, 256GB SSD, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M graphics card, and 8GB of RAM. The company is including four speakers and a 4K HDMI out port in the ATIV Book 9 Pro.
The ATIV Book 9 Pro is expected to offer up to 6.5 hours of battery life, and it weighs in at 4.45lbs (that’s about 2 KG). The device will be available for $1599, and it will be available this month on Samsung.com, as well as Best Buy.
