Gizmodo has managed to get a hands-on with Samsung’s new WiMAX-enabled Windows Mobile powered MID and has been able to provide more details.

Apparently the 4.3 inch screened device will feature Samsung’s TouchWiz interface and pack Opera Mobile 9.5 for full web browsing.

It will also have 4GB storage on top of microSD expansion. Finally, the device will support  a variety of video and audio codecs and HDMI out to enable you to play it on an even bigger screen.

The device is not voice-enabled (likely related to the WIMAX provisioning of the network itself) but does have a microphone, so VOIP should work.

Other hardware features are WIFI, GPS,  a 3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.1 and of course a full QWERTY keyboard.

Gizmodo notes the device has good build quality, felt lighter than expected, the screen bright and crisp, the UI was quite responsive and the keys well defined.
