Samsung is planning to launch a new device under their A series banner. Called A50, the device is rumoured to boost decent specs and will be available in the market soon.
According to a new leak, Samsung Galaxy A50 will have almost all the features one might look for including the 3.5mm headphone jack. The device will follow Samsung’s design guidelines and will have an infinity-U design. Moreover, the device will feature USB Type-C as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner. Moving to the back, the device has a triple camera system as well as support for MST and comes with a MicroSD card slot.
The support page of the phone is also live suggesting the fact that the device will launch soon. However, the support page doesn’t list any of the features or specs of the device. That said, the Samsung Galaxy A50 is rumoured to come with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with a 1080 x 2340 Full HD+ resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The device will be powered by an Exynos 9610 10nm octa-core chipset with four ARM Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.3 GHz and four ARM Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz. The smartphone will be available in two memory configurations: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. On the back of the handset will be a triple-lens camera setup with a 25MP primary sensor, 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor. The phone will also have a 25MP snapper on the front for selfies and video calls. Samsung will also include a 4000mAh non-removable battery with 15W fast charging support. The upcoming Galaxy A-series smartphone will debut with the Android Pie-based One UI out of the box.
