It is no surprise that Microsoft is working on a Surface-branded mobile powered by Windows 10. Now popular designer David Breyer used the recent Microsoft patent filings to create rather beautiful renders of Surface Andromeda devices.
According to the pictures he shared online, Surface Andromeda looks gorgeous in different colours including Burgundy and Cobalt Blue. The devices will be divided into two screens and will be able to flip the screen. According to the renders, there will be a USB Type-C cable at the bottom and no buttons. On the side, the device will have a notification ticker which resembles something like Edge notifications on Samsung Galaxy S series. It will show you the new notifications without the need for opening the device itself. The device can be opened like a book which will make the screen double its size.
Of course, these are not the true images and just the renders designed according to the patents filed by Microsoft so take it with a pinch of salt. That being said, it would be great if Microsoft launches a similar product in the near future. This might be the last chance for Microsoft to salvage something out of Windows Phone. What do our readers think of this? Will you be willing to buy the device if launched by Microsoft? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
