We’re in the home stretch now before the Xbox One X releases on November 7, and Xbox Wire has released a new article and video to help get you prepared for its launch.

You’ll obviously want to take advantage of the console’s benefits as soon as possible, so to begin you can start by pre-downloading 4K assets on your standard Xbox One. To do this you need to go to Settings, then System, and choose Backup and transfer. This is where you will see an option to download 4K game content, and all you’ll need to do is simply tap A to check the box.

To back up your settings before transferring over your account, you’ll need to go to the Backup and Transfer settings again and hit Back Up My Settings. This allows you to transfer your account and key system settings over to an Xbox One X. When this feature is enabled, your settings will be copied to a hard drive. Once that hard drive is connected to the Xbox One X, you can import them.

You’ll also be able to transfer games and apps over using your home network. This setting is again found under the Backup and Transfer menu. Make sure to have both your current console and new console connected to your home network. Because this feature uses your local area network, you won’t need to worry about going over your internet bandwidth.

Another easy way to transfer games is using an external hard drive. The Xbox One allows bulk storage transfer across devices, so just go to Settings, System, and then choose Storage. From here you will be able to manage your external storage devices and select what you want to move or copy over. Then simply just plug that storage device into your Xbox One X and you’re ready to go.

Lastly, you can find Xbox One X enhanced games through a new filter under your Games & Apps section. Games that have an update for enhancements will be shown here. And of course you can always check their website to see the current list of games which are enhanced.
