Telegram has rolled out another update for its Windows phone app, bumping it up to Version 2.9.

The update adds full support for Telegram’s new protocol, MTProto 2.0, which involves a change in the hash algorithm which enhances messaging security.

The update also includes improvements to media viewing and support for albums in secret chats.
