Google’s Pixel handsets never had a reputation for looking great, but it seems in an effort to boost sales of their smartphone hardware, Google may be looking to change that reputation.

According to YouTube channel Front Page Tech, who leaked the Pixel 3 design last year, Google’s next Pixel handset is going to be a real looker.

To start we can say goodbye to the notch, with the handset expected to feature an Infinity-O-like screen with a punch-hole camera just like the Samsung Galaxy S10.  In addition, it will also feature an in-display fingerprint reader, but the stand-out feature will be the complete absence of side buttons, with the Pixel said to be using capacitive touch areas as a replacement.

Google, of course, has a history with pressure-sensitive frames, and the Pixel 4 is said to be the first handset by their HTC-derived team, so it could be again related to that technology.  In addition, the handset will crib another HTC feature – stereo speakers.
