AOL has updated their AIM chat client for Windows Mobile, and unlike iPhone users we can actually run the client in the background. This release is mainly a bug fix and addresses the following issues.

  • Updated and improved resolution issues with different devices.
  • Fixed several bugs dealing with out of client and offline experiences.
  • Added link to “Get a Screen Name” at login.
  • Improved connectivity and performance.

The AIM client for Windows Mobile Smartphone has many of the same key features and a familiar look-and-feel of the desktop AIM client, and supports devices both with and without a touch screen.
