As we announced earlier this week, we intend to merge our two Microsoft focused sites; Microsoft-News and WMPoweruser into one big Microsoft news site. Now, while this is an exciting period for us at WMPU, we intend to bring you – our readers – all the way for the ride.
That’s why we’re asking for your input on our new names below. In our internal discussions, we’ve tossed about several ideas and settled down on two names – MSPoweruser and Microsoft Power User. While these two are exactly the same in meaning, settling on one name would help us in choosing a URL, designing the logo and in general consistency and branding during the transition period.
While we are biased towards those two, you can also make suggestions in the comments below for new names. If we see any we like, we’ll be sure to take that into consideration when picking a new name and logo.
