Last month, Microsoft bought Mojang for $2 billion. It was pretty clear that the company was planning to bring Minecraft PE (Pocket Edition) for Windows Phone. Minecraft PE developer, Tommaso Checchi just confirmed that he is working on Minecraft PE for Windows Phone. The current version of the app is 0.10 and it isn’t available yet. Mojang hasn’t officially posted any news about the Windows Phone version, however.

Tommaso hasn’t posted any screenshot of the game since it is on its early stage of development. It’s worth noting that the game will also work on 512 MB devices. But we’ll make sure to keep you updated.
What do you think about Minecraft PE? Are you excited?
