Microsoft today released new updates for a bunch of its iOS apps. Today, the company updated its Office, Outlook, PowerApps, and Fetch apps, too. Most of these updates are minor, and they don’t bring any major new features, either.
First up is the update for the Office apps: Microsoft has updated the Word, Excel, and PowerPoint apps for the iPhone adding the ability to quickly access commands that “make sense in the moment.”
Alongside the Office apps update, Microsoft updated Outlook for iOs with support for a new language:Â Albanian. According to Microsoft, the Outlook app for iOS now supports 63 languages, which is quite a lot.
Microsoft has also updated Fetch!, a Microsoft Garage product which allows users to detect a dog’s breed using their iPhone. The update for Fetch! brings support for new breeds, and some other improvements:
- Support for four additional breeds: Bichon Frise, St. Bernard, Vizsla, Weimaraner.
- UX elements enhanced removing English text in preparation for supporting additional languages.
- Bug fix: Dog breed profile text updated to fix issue where apostrophes were rendering as question marks.
- Added video to this description
Lastly, Microsoft has also updated PowerApps for iOS, with some bug fixes:
Thanks for using PowerApps and for all the feedback! In this release, we’ve added fixes to the import-export control, in addition to other bug fixes. We’ll continue to improve the experience and provide regular updates based on your feedback.
