Microsoft recently deployed a new security feature in Edge for Business, the Edge for Business security connector framework. This enhancement enables organizations to integrate their browser with their already deployed authentication, DLP, and reporting solutions for a more integrated experience with industry-trusted security tools.
The feature is intended to improve security in enterprise environments by connecting the gaps between isolated systems.

With support from over a dozen security partners, including Cisco Duo, CrowdStrike, Splunk, and Ping Identity, these connectors integrate key security capabilities into Edge for Business.
The update covers three essential areas: device trust, reporting, and data loss prevention. Organizations can now verify device trust in real-time, integrate reporting for better security visibility, and prevent data leaks through DLP features directly within the browser.
These connectors are available at no additional cost, making it easier for businesses to extend their security configurations to the browser with minimal setup. The connectors are designed for easy integration through the Microsoft 365 admin center, with detailed step-by-step instructions.
With more connectors coming soon, this update marks a significant step in making Edge for Business a critical part of enterprise security infrastructure.
For more information, businesses can explore the feature through Microsoft’s official resources.
