Nokia Lumia 2520 Red

Just like Surface 2, Microsoft has now stopped the production of Lumia 2520 Windows RT tablet. This was confirmed by Dutch publication PCM and Microsoft responded to them that an exact date for the end of production is not available. This means that there are no Windows RT device currently under production in the market.

New data from GFXBench has revealed that a new hardware with a 10.1-ich display and QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution is under testing. This device will be powered by Snapdragon 805 SoC and Qualcomm Adreno 420.

Given the fact that Microsoft’s focus has shifted from Windows RT to Windows 10, it is unlikely that Microsoft will release another Windows RT tablet in the market.
