Remember when we shared strings of the AI-powered Paint Cocreator feature, which insiders have spotted in a recent beta build of Microsoft Paint? 

Well, this exact feature has just made its public debut during today’s Microsoft Surface 2023 event — although Microsoft didn’t explicitly announce it, they demonstrated it in a video presentation. 

In case you missed it, Cocreator uses DALL-E, an AI system that can create realistic images and art from text descriptions, and as the strings say, it lets you create images by describing what you want to see just like on Bing Image Creator.

To join the Cocreator waitlist and try it out, you need to sign in with your Microsoft Account.

This isn’t the only AI-powered feature that made its debut at today’s event, as Microsoft announced Copilot’s release date for general availability on September 26th. 

Microsoft Outlook is also getting a Copilot feature called “sound like me.” And, you guessed it: it will let the AI to mimic your texting habits and language so it can come up with the most you-sounding email.
