Microsoft yesterday released a new update for Mixer app on Apple App Store and Google Play Store. This new update brings three new improvements.
First, Microsoft has now disabled FTL (faster-than-light) video by default. You can enable it using the quality selector when required. Microsoft is making this change to reduce load issues on lower speed/unreliable connectivity devices.
Second, Microsoft has brought channel progression to mobile devices. Watching, chatting, using sparks, spending embers all help you level up within a channel which will give you new abilities.
Third, you can now block users, even without signing in. You will be able to manage your list of blocked accounts via the Settings page.
Download the updated app here from Play Store and here from Apple App Store.
