Microsoft has released a new update for the Microsoft Launcher app in Google Play Store. This new update removes two existing features and includes several improvements. Microsoft has removed Timeline and Family parental controls features from the app. Family parental control feature allowed users to set app limits, see kids’ locations on a map, and get reports about app activity. Since Microsoft now has the new dedicated Microsoft Family Safety app, Microsoft has removed this feature from Launcher. All these changes were first made available in the Microsoft Launcher beta app a few days ago.
Changelog
- Overview mode page arrangement improvement
- App Group placement optimization
- Add app to home screen placement optimization
- Pagination UI improvement
- Timeline deprecated
- Family parental controls deprecated
