On April 29, 2017, Roger Federer and John Isner will face off against each other in the KeyArena in Seattle, WA to raise money for the Roger Federer Foundation. In the doubles match, Roger Federer will team up with Bill Gates. This duo will play against John Isner and his celebrity partner who is yet to be determined. Net proceeds from this event will go to the Roger Federer Foundation. The Roger Federer Foundation supports children living in poverty and helps them to realize their potential. The foundation supports education projects in six countries in southern Africa and in Switzerland. Over 275‘000 children are benefitting from the foundation’s current programs.

“I believe in the power of people,” Federer said in a statement. “We know that a good education is a decisive factor to empower children by allowing them to take their future into their own hands. With my foundation, we want to provide one million children with the opportunity for a quality education by the end of 2018. The Match for Africa 4 in Seattle will help us reach our ambitious goals. I am very grateful for this opportunity to collaborate with Bill Gates, who in my opinion is the world’s leading philanthropist.”
