Great news for Chinese Microsoft Eco-system users. Microsoft has enabled the integration of Sina Weibo accounts with Microsoft Account. If you enable Sina Weibo account with Microsoft, you can do the following.

  1. Ability to view Sina Weibo contacts on your Windows Phone (People hub), Windows 8 (People app), and Outlook.com (people.live.com) contact lists
  2. Ability to view status updates from Sina Weibo contacts on your Windows Phone and Windows 8 (People app)
  3. Ability to share a link to your SkyDrive files and folders to your Sina Weibo followers
  4. Ability to post status updates via your Windows Phone

This is same as the Facebook account integration in Windows Phone, Windows 8 using Microsoft Account.
