Yesterday, Microsoft released updates for Bing Sports and Bing Weather app for Windows Phone 8 devices. Since there wer no official change log mentioned in the Store listings, we reported it with few visual changes found in the app. Later, Microsoft blogged about the changes in the new updates.Bing Sports has added 30 new sports including tennis, rugby, etc, and Bing Weather now current snow and weather conditions at ski resorts around the world. Read more about it below.

Bing Weather:

Bing Weather App

You’ll find the app now supplies current snow and weather conditions at ski resorts around the world, plus weather history and additional metrics like the UV index. And that’s not all. Other notable changes include revamped Live Tiles displaying current conditions, wind-speed, and precipitation—with a 5-day forecast on the flip side. But my favorite addition is new lock screen support for at-a-glance weather updates. Give it a try and see what you think.

Bing Sports:

Bing Sports App

The Bing team also significantly beefed up coverage in its free Bing Sports app, adding 30 new sports including tennis, rugby, NASCAR, LPGA, and Champions League soccer. The app already supplies top headlines, scores, schedules, standings, and stats. But now you can also track sports and players that matter to you most—so the app feels a lot more personal. Another change: Bing Sports also now shows leading teams and players on league and team pages.
