Key notes
- The new Surface Pro with Snapdragon X Plus processors is Microsoft’s first true alternative to Apple iPad Pro lineup.
At a press event today, Microsoft announced the new Surface Pro 11th Edition powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus processors. Because of its thin and light form factor, the new Surface Pro 11th Edition comes with both the powerful variants of Snapdragon X processors similar to the newly announced Surface Laptop 7th Edition. However, even with the low-end variant of Snapdragon X Elite processor, Surface Pro 11th Edition delivers great single threaded and multi-threaded performance without compromising battery life. In fact, the performance of this new Surface Pro rivals the M3-powered Apple MacBook Air laptops.
Highlights of Surface Pro 11th edition:
- 90% faster than the Surface Pro 9
- New Surface Pro flex keyboard that can be used even without connecting physically to Surface Pro device
- 13-inch OLED HDR display with Dolby Vision IQ
- Support for WiFi 7 and option 5G
- Weighs under 900gms
- 14 hours video playback
- Fast charging support
- Quad HD front-facing Studio Camera with Windows Studio effects
- Two USB-C ports
- Available in 4 colors
The Surface Pro 11th edition with Snapdragon X Plus and LCD display starts at $999. The Surface Pro 11th Edition with Snapdragon X Elite and OLED display starts at $1499. You can pre-order it here.
