Microsoft acquires BlueTalon, a leading provider of data-centric security for enterprises

Microsoft today announced that it is acquiring BlueTalon, a leading provider of data-centric security for next-gen data platforms. BlueTalon helps enterprises to take control of their data by allowing them to give users access to the data they need, nothing else. BlueTalon already works with several Fortune 100 companies to eliminate data security blind spots and gain visibility and control of data.

BlueTalon provides a customer-proven, data-centric solution for data access management and auditing across the diverse systems resident in modern data estates.

BlueTalon team will be part of Microsoft’s Azure Data Governance group post acquisition process.
