It seems what started out as a bundle will soon consume the constituent components.

Microsoft 365 is an enterprise bundle which combined Windows 10, Office 365, and Azure for some plans.

The latest Office Insider builds however suggests Office 365 may be on its way out, with the branding disappearing from the splash screen of the Office Suite apps.

The implications of this are not clear but may relate to the coming consumer version of Microsoft 365, which is expected to include new components such as Microsoft Teams for Life. As the Office 365 bundle expands beyond making documents the brand makes less and less sense for those who do not actually work in an office.

Microsoft is expected to make some related announcements at their Surface event on the 2nd October, meaning we should know a lot more soon.
