Facebook today announced its new Windows 10 apps for Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger. While the Facebook and Instagram apps are already live in the Windows Store, the new Messenger app just went live for download in the Store. Here are some of the features of the app:

  • Get notifications so you never miss a message
  • See when you have messages waiting for you with a live tile
  • Send photos, videos, GIFs and more
  • Bring your conversations to life with stickers
  • Know when people have seen your messages
  • Create groups for the people you message most—name them and set group photos
  • Forward messages or photos to people who weren’t in the conversation
  • Search for people and groups to quickly get back to them

Here are some screenshots of the app:

In case you missed it, the new Messenger app is only available for PCs, and it will be coming to Mobile devices later this year. You can download Messenger for Windows 10 from the link below.
