Although Google Photos app is one of the best photos apps available on Android, it lacks some important features that we all use almost every day. Now, it looks like the company is working hard to bring some of those important features to the Google Photos app.

The search giant is planning to add a feature, which will let you draw and caption on photos, to Google Photos app. These are the features are already present in Microsoft’s Photos app on Windows 10.

While these new features are expected to work on every Android smartphone, experiences are expected to be a lot better on smartphones like Samsung Galaxy Note series, the reason being the fact that it comes with a stylus.

The feature is currently under testing phase, meaning that it could take Google a while before they roll out these new features to every Google Photos user.

Google recently copied another Microsoft feature by adding the ability to search for text in any images in the Google Photos app. The feature works similar to the OneDrive’s text recognition feature. The test recognition feature is also present in Microsoft’s Photos app.
