Minecraft is a very popular game. It even made it to mobile platforms like Android OS and iOS, but not to Windows Phone. Anyway, there is a Minecraft clone out there, and it is a really good one!
Overall score: 5/5
The game is great! Even if it is still not finished, it is already like a complete game. If you know Minecraft, you will notice some missing things like there are no monsters so far, but the game is still getting updated.
You have two pads, one for moving and one for the view. Jumping is set as automatically, but you can set it to manually and then you just need to press one of those pads to jump, which works really good. As you are walking through a complete open world and have to build yourself a house you need to craft. Crafting means you have to mine elements (like stone or iron) and build other things with them. For example you will have to mine iron, melt it in the oven and put it together with two wooden sticks to get a metal pickaxe. You sometimes have to think a little bit (when you don’t want to use the recipaedia) how to craft something. But that is pretty fun and you will manage to build some real cool buildings if you play long enough 😉
The game has, same as Minecraft, this 8bit look. Some may think this are bad graphics, but it is the style of Minecraft. Anyway, you are able to install texture packs to give the game a different style.
Lasting value: 5/5
The game has no ending: It depends on you how long you like to play it. I already played it for very very long and I am still not bored.
I venture to say this is the best game in the marketplace, or at least one of the best. The gamplay is nice, the presentation is nice and the lasting value is also the same.
The game can be found here for €3.99, but keep in mind may get more expensive after an update.
