Hearts is a great FREE classic card game for Windows Phone 7 with decent visuals, and FAST load times (Video Review)!

Overall Score: 4/5Hearts2

This game is a great version of the Hearts cards game. The controls work well, the visuals are okay, the gameplay is identical to Hearts, and it loads SO fast! The only disappointment is the lack of sounds/music.

Gameplay: 5/5

All of the normal rules of Hearts is here, including the moonshot combo. The controls are perfect for this card game. And if you don’t know all the rules about Hearts, you can click the help button to learn how to play. Your score will be kept track of in the score sheet, which also tracks your win statistics and moonshots.

Presentation: 4/5

The visuals work well for this, with some little animations for when cards are drawn or moved. The game gets some extra credit for being so fast at loading and resuming perfectly. It was disappointing that there is no music or sounds, so you don’t get an auditory hint when cards are drawn, but otherwise the presentation is good.

Lasting Value: 3/5

The game will last however long you want it to, since it is a card game that can be played time after time. However, there isn’t any online leaderboard which you could compete in, so that limits the lasting value some. And since it is only one card game with only one gameplay mode, it can get repetitive soon. But it’s free!
