Samsung is rumored to be ready to launch it’s new foldable smartphone soon and it has already made its way to one of their official websites.

It not news that Samsung has been working on a foldable device. The Galaxy X was earlier spotted under the codename SM-G888N0 Bluetooth SIG and the Korean National Radio Research Agency. The listings didn’t reveal much but the images contained in a patent application filed in Korea two weeks ago shows the alleged user interface. Also, the device is apparently not a folding clamshell device but opened up like a book or flip case horizontally. The surface may then be divided into two windows that are operated independently of each other.

The Samsung Galaxy X is expected to hit few markets and will be sold in small quantities only. If you remember, Samsung did take a shot at curved phones a few years back with Galaxy Round. This might be another test run from Samsung before going into full production.

We can expect Samsung Galaxy X to be launched in MWC the coming year. Till then, head to the comments section and let us know your thoughts on the same.
