Firefox is letting users test out two interesting features via its Test Pilot program today. The firm uses this program to test out new features, and some of them even make it to mainstream Firefox releases.

The first feature is Firefox Color. Firefox Color is essentially theming tension made by Mozilla. It lets you customise different elements of your browser like the background colour, the text, the icons etc. Mozilla wants you to be able to make your browser colour match your moods, whether you want it to be dark like your soul or pink like your heart, have at it. The firm will let you share your themes with others, or select from pre-installed themes

The second new feature here is Side View. Side View is a feature that has been in many a third party browser, allowing you to view two separate pages in the same window. This will let you do things like price comparison between retail stores, or compare news stories between different sources or just carry out a search in Google and Bing at the same time because you’re a mad lad.

While you can approximate it right now by simply opening two separate windows, some might prefer the convenience this offers.

Naturally, you’ll need to be a member of Firefox’s Test Pilot program to try this out.

You can learn more about that — and about these new features — from the source link below.
