Fallout 4

Bethesda Game Studios’ Fallout 4 will run at double its original framerate on Xbox Series S.

Revealed through a blog post explaining the backward compatibility features of the next-gen Xbox Series consoles – details here – Xbox demonstrated the upcoming backward compatibility enhancements with this generation’s preferred Fallout title.

On Xbox Series S, Microsoft’s budget-focused next-gen console, the open-world RPG runs at double the Xbox One game’s original framerate without the need for Bethesda to update the title.

There’s no news on whether the game will see any resolution enhancements for Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S, but with Xbox’s recent $7.5 billion purchase of Bethesda Softworks parent company ZeniMax Media, nobody’s going to say no.
