GiraDischi is the same of ‘vintage record player’ in English. It is now reborn in a new form, right on your Windows 10 Mobile, PC, Tablet, Xbox (in near future).
It lets you stream every song you would like to listen, thanks to the huge library It use, YouTube. When you’ll search for a song you will find the best results that match with keywords you typed.
It’s a mixed features and design from Youtube Music, Spotify, iTunes.
It’s perfect while you’re driving or even if you are at home, thanks to the deep integration with Cortana, say ‘Cortana’ + GeeDee + *title song* and voilà , your song will start instantly, using your Microsoft Band, Phone or PC.
(This feature is available where also Cortana is).
GiraDischi has also an interesting section called ‘Discover’ that is connected to iTunes server, and lets you see a real-time Top 100, songs and album. Plus a ‘Most Popular’ list directly from Youtube. And more to come..
If you would like to ‘Create a Playlist’ it’s easy, and will be soon synced across your devices.
Actually this app supports also two default lists, your Favourite list and your Offline list. In fact if you want to listen to a song even with no connection, you can do it, you just need to Tap the ‘Offline’ button and the current ‘now playing’ song will be saved inside app storage.
GiraDischi also spots an interesting feature, List sharing by QR Code; share what you are listening or your favourite list with your friends. Everyone with GeeDee will be able to know INSTANTLY what you are listening just scanning QR Code shared by you, with section right inside the app.
A summary of features:
- Background audio;
- Cortana Integration;
- Offline listening;
- Continuum support;
- iTunes and YouTube chart;
- Playlist support;
- QR Code sharing (playlist and invidividual song sharing;
- QR Code reading (you can import others playlist, or just play them);
- More to come..
It’s currently in public beta (free for this periodo), so if you want to test it, use the emoji inside the app to report bugs or for suggestions.
